The Dubai Metro has a long way to go although it was just like being on the Sheikh Zayed Road frustrating , yesterday I had taken the family from Mall Of the Emirates to Diera City Centre. "Our First Trip" There was a huge queue at the ticket office a bigger queue at the Two Machines ( Which kept needing technical intervention ) it only took half an hour to get to a train. on the way back waiting at the station and looking through the plate glass screen I was asked to move back because it was unsafe !!! to stand there ??? (How dangerous is this ?)and having said to my wife how nice the stations were ( no smell of stale Urine like you might find on the London Underground ) The train stunk of the same obviously someone couldnt wait. Well my conclusion was as we arrived back at Mall Of The Emirates where a number of the areas had been roped of to herd us fare paying passengers around, and walking back into the pristine Mall. Why oh why would a forward thinking country employ a British company to run there fagship rail project. The British operate the worst Railway System in the world.
