Monday mirth

Keep spirits high through the week with a comedy night at The Warehouse at Le Meridien Dubai.

Acclaimed Egyptian-American comedian, Ronnie Khalil, is flying into town for an exclusive show at the venue’s Monday Night Funnies event this Monday, December 7.

Born in Miami and raised by Egyptian parents, Ronnie is known among his fans for providing a combination of energy, intelligence and facial expressions that leaves audiences doubled over with laughter. He holds strong comedic experience, having worked with Conan O’Brien and in numerous comedy festivals in Boston, New York, Amman, and South Beach.

“Ronnie Khalil’s humour is something people from various ethnic backgrounds can relate to, which is why he is the ideal pick for Monday Night Funnies,” says Ali Al Sayed, the de facto leader of Dubomedy - the group who introduced Monday Night Funnies back in October.

Dubomedy features a troupe founded by Broadway veteran Mina Liccione, and acts that include comedy, improvisation, tap dance and body beats - which involves people making music with their bodies! The sets also encourage audience members to learn more about performing arts and allows them to discover and show off their inner talents, as well as from providing a fun evening out.

Doors open at 9pm and tickets, which are dhs120, are available on the door
